    Pre-opening branding and creative support

    The brief:
    IHS was asked to define a strategic positioning for two resorts in Maldives that would allow the properties to stand apart from the competition.

    IHS’s Solution:
    Define the core positioning whilst also designing and producing over 150 operational items including all leather menus, guest compendiums and all external marketing communication. IHS developed a series of unique illustrations inspired by marine life in Maldives and these were then used across all design platforms. All names and identities were developed by IHS.

    The brief:
    IHS was brought on board in the redesign of MJ’s Steakhouse within Madinat Jumeirah.

    IHS’s Solution:
    MJ’s concept was NYC-inspired and blended the sophistication of the Upper East Side with the avant-garde cool of Manhattan. IHS focused on the production of the statement art pieces around which the rest of the interior was developed. IHS set off the bright colour of the seating with more muted night time images which provided contrast and interest.



    The brief:
    In order to build a client database for future communications, IHS provided and launched a digital engagement solution which ran through
    the course of the Arabian Travel Market, attracting a key portion of its target audience.

    The Solution:
    The solution which used social media platform, Instagram along with a customised moderation tool, showcased a live feed of images entered by participants who were in with a chance to win a 7-night stay in the Royal Suite. The competition raised general awareness of the brand during the
    busy and populous ATM event along with compilation of a database of contacts which would be useful at the launch.

    The Brief:
    IHS was recently engaged to advise a leading hotel group on their strategic placing within the GCC market.

    IHS’s solution:
    The first phase of the project was to create a breadth of research across feeder markets, media dynamics and travel trends to deliver an up to date knowledge base. Building on the findings, IHS made use of their industry intelligence and relevant feasibility studies to qualify projections which shaped the holistic strategy for the client. The third and final stage, IHS guided the client through a hospitality positioning exercise for each segment
    of its business organization, raising the points to exploit, leverage, build and promote.

    Hotel Signage

    The brief:
    The hotel wanted to work with the existing marketing from its launch in 2012 to develop signage that reflected the identities of its F&B propositions.

    IHS’s Solution:
    Working within a set budget and timeline IHS delivered the signage for the main Blue Flame Grill which instantly communicates the chic, elegant theme of the restaurant from within the foyer. The large garden restaurant Nomad uses an Asian font which conveys the Asian fusion theme and attracts people from within the hotel and the main entrance on the roadside. The signage for Cuba is contemporary with a bold font and colour which glows against the white backdrop to really pop out and complement the all-white interiors and represents the hip, cool and classy positioning of the outlet.
